If the badges themselves look salvagable, tape them with good painters tape during the repaint. If they are junk, peel 'em off, repaint the tank, and go spend between 50 and 75 bucks for a set at the dealership. Or, peel, repaint, airbrush on a design of your choice. Most Savages that need paint work get done in a "stealth" mode anyway. The cost for the factory stickers is too high when you consider that it is just 4mil plastic with some mylar on it.
